CamBam - ScreenshotsHere are some screenshots from CamBam Creating drilling patterns is very easy. Here a WingDing TTF character 'N' is used to create a drilling pattern for an external hard disk enclosure. Complicated geometry can be generated using VBScript or Javascript. Here a VBScript is used to generate a spirograph (with slowed down animation of the process). A VBScript was used to wrap the geometry created from the heightmap plugin around a cylinder segment. A VBScript was used to take 2D 'slices' through the 3D model of a cow in preparation for 3D profiling that will appear in later versions. Steak anyone? GCode files can be opened and viewed within CamBam. Different colours are used to differentiate lines and arcs. This image shows the Machining:ShowCutWidths=true view. This is used to highlight areas of stock that will not be cleared by machining operations. |
